A long, dirty day...

December 2019 and the unstoppable Green Wattle Creek fire comes roaring toward the Blue Mountains from the south. We spend 14 hours, hacking, slashing, burning, blacking out and mopping up. At the end, I collapsed into an exhausted sleep in the back of truck, unable to stay awake.
