Collecting the Cobargo payphone

As part of the National Museum’s collecting around the 2019-20 bushfires we acquired the public payphone from Cobargo, NSW. It was destroyed in the fire which hit the town on the final day of 2019. It was a sobering experience to visit the town and photograph the phone in situ.
