Covid-19 and the Australian Open 2021

I spotted this spray-painted image of a Covid tennis ball on a bollard near Flinders St Station when visiting Melbourne in April 2021. Not everyone was a fan of Melbourne hosting the Open Tennis this year because of the threat of Covid escaping quarantine again.
