Trials and tribulations

I do not drive and don’t have a car. During bushfires friends, who initially included me in their emergency plan, decided they actually did not have space for me in their cars. I waited knowing nobody would come, except the fire. We are not friends any longer.

Then in COVID time, I was severely bullied at work. At the same time my beloved Auntie who was like a mum to me died. I could not travel and be there. I still cry. I don’t know when I will be able to go.

At work things are still not settled.

I came to Australia with lots of joy and hope. Now I feel isolated, powerless and abused, and do not see the end in sight. I have no family here, and very few friends. I am just thinking what is the next thing that will hit me.
