Virus from China
Life was going along pretty good. I was retired and going out 4 days a week. I did Tafe classes, volunteering at local op shop, yoga, and meeting friends for coffee until the government said stay home you are in the vulnerable age group, if you catch this virus you could die. It was frightening, even though there was no cases in our rural town. I did Tafe at home and cancelled my social life. Nothing has changed down the track. I have had my second jab and I’m still paranoid about going out and bringing Covid-19 home to my sick husband. One day things might get back to normal but I’m not sure when. I’m not holding my breath, just staying home and travelling 56 kilometres to town to grocery shop.
