The Hypervigilante

On the day the pandemic was declared, I strung up a black-lettered banner, that proclaimed “HAPPY PANDEMIC’ in my living room. I remember thinking, I’ll take it down soon… after all this madness is over. Two years later it’s still there. My family are severely immunocompromised, our pandemic has been far from ‘HAPPY’.
